Candice Griffin

Candice Griffin is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the School Principal at Mesquite Independent School District since July 2023. Prior to this role, Candice held the position of School Principal at Cedar Hill ISD from July 2020 to July 2023 and served as the Assistant Principal at Duncanville ISD from August 2017 to July 2020. Additional experience includes roles as a TAP Master Teacher and TAP ELA Mentor Teacher at Grand Prairie ISD (July 2014 - July 2017) and as an ESL and Reading Interventionist at KIPP Texas Public Schools - DFW (July 2012 - July 2014). Candice began the teaching career as a 4th and 5th Grade English and Social Studies teacher at DeSoto Independent School District (September 2009 - July 2012). Educational qualifications include a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Dallas Baptist University (2012 - 2014) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration and Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (2004 - 2008).
