Shianne B.

Shianne B. is an experienced athletic trainer with a solid background in sports medicine. Currently serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Mesquite Independent School District since July 2021, Shianne previously held the same position at Corsicana ISD from July 2019 to June 2021. An internship at Courtney's Corner Los Angeles provided valuable experience working with professional athletes alongside Courtney Watson, the head athletic trainer for the Los Angeles Sparks, focusing on pregame preparations, first aid, and rehabilitation from June 2014 to January 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as a Student Athletic Trainer at Howard University, where Shianne supported a certified athletic training staff and team physician in treating and managing injuries among student athletes. Shianne holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance with a focus on Sports Medicine from Howard University and a Master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Houston.
