Ananya Jain

Ananya Jain is a dedicated software engineer intern at Meta, contributing to the Commerce Growth Intelligence team since May 2024, where a standardized listing filtering system and modularized APIs for Marketplace Push Notifications and Newsfeed Showcase were developed. Currently, Ananya serves as a research assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology's Computational Cognitive Science Lab under Professor Rahnev Dobromir, focusing on artificial neural networks for quantity estimation tasks. Previous experience includes work as an undergraduate researcher at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, applying deep learning and genetic programming for midpoint price prediction in high-frequency stock trading. Ananya's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from both Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Oxford, along with involvement as Vice President of the Student Council at Lotus Valley International School and participation in a summer program at Princeton University.
