Aung Thar

Aung (Zack) Thar is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly within the gaming industry. Currently employed at Meta since August 2019, Aung previously held prominent roles at Blizzard Entertainment, including Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead, where significant contributions included automating iOS distribution, enhancing push notification features, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing. Aung's prior experience also spans positions at Marqeta, IGN Entertainment, and Interabang Entertainment, showcasing expertise in developing mobile applications, creating open-source projects, and training engineers. Aung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, obtained in 2011.
