Mohammad Rastegari

Mohammad Rastegari is a distinguished scientist at Meta since April 2024 and holds a senior role in AI/ML at Apple, where contributions include positions as Senior AI/ML Technical Leader and Principal AI/ML Manager since January 2020. Additionally, Mohammad serves as an affiliate assistant professor in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at the University of Washington since October 2019. Previously, Mohammad co-founded Xnor.ai and served as its Chief Technology Officer from January 2017 to January 2020, and worked as a research scientist at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence from September 2015 to January 2020. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland (2012-2015), a PhD in Computer Science from Dartmouth College (2010-2012), and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Shomal University (2003-2007).
