Narasimhan Venkataramaiah

Narasimhan Venkataramaiah is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing large-scale infrastructure. Currently employed at Meta as a Software Engineer since October 2024, Narasimhan previously served as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Databricks, where efforts focused on enhancing serverless product margins through improved infrastructure efficiency. Prior to that, Narasimhan spent over seven years at Facebook, contributing to the development of a video processing and serving infrastructure that handles nearly a billion videos daily. Narasimhan's earlier career includes a role as Principal Development Lead at Microsoft, overseeing the development of software load balancers and DDoS protection services for Microsoft Azure, in addition to a tenure as Senior Development Lead at Microsoft and various engineering positions at Facebook. Narasimhan holds an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BE in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
