Dirk Sturz

Dirk Sturz is the current advisor at Metacity. Dirk has also worked as the CEO of Börse Stuttgart Digital Exchange GmbH from February 2019 to June 2020. Prior to that, they were the managing director and head of primary markets at Börse Stuttgart from July 2018 to June 2019. From August 2014 to March 2018, they were an adjunct lecturer at Universität Hohenheim teaching trading and exchanges. Dirk is also a co-founder of Sowa Labs GmbH, which they worked at from May 2013 to November 2017. Other companies they have worked for include WES Holding GmbH, Börse Stuttgart Securities GmbH, and Baden-Württembergische Wertpapierbörse GmbH.

Dirk Sturz's educational career began at the University of Hohenheim, where they earned their Dr. oec. and Ph.D. in finance. Dirk then went on to earn their Certified Floor Trader certification from the Baden-Württembergische Wertpapierbörse. Finally, they earned their Diplom Kaufmann in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the University of Tübingen.
