Billy Mawasha

Billy Mawasha is an Independent Non Executive Director at Metair Investments Ltd. Billy has also served as a Member of the Board at Murray & Roberts and as Managing Director Richards Bay Minerals and Rio Tinto Country Head for South Africa. Prior to their current positions, Mawasha took a Sabbatical in October 2018 to March 2019. Billy is also a Member of the Board at Symphonia for South Africa.

Billy Mawasha's educational career includes completing an Executive Education program at Harvard Kennedy School in Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century, an Advanced Management Programme at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and an Accelerated Development Programme at London Business School. Billy also has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from University of Cape Town.
