Vitaliy Kovalenko

Vitaliy Kovalenko is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in sustainability and investment management. Since July 2019, Vitaliy has served as the Director of the Department for Sustainability Development and Environmental Management at Метинвест. Prior roles include Director of Investments and Perspective Development at PJSC "DonbassEnergo," and Director of Strategy and Investments at the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry. Vitaliy has also held positions such as Deputy Head of the Strategic Policy and Investments Department and Associate in Investment Banking at Phoenix Capital. Educational qualifications include a blended professional certificate in Chief Sustainability Officer from MIT Professional Education, a course on Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Responsibility from London Business School, and an Executive MBA from IMD, among other degrees in law and finance from prestigious institutions.
