Diane Link

Diane Link is an experienced underwriting professional with extensive expertise in the insurance industry. Currently a Senior Underwriting Consultant at MetLife since June 2021, Diane manages a $48M block of renewal business in Association and Member Group Benefits. Prior to MetLife, Diane served as Chief Underwriter at The Hartford from 1984 to June 2021, specializing in large group presale and renewal underwriting. Diane's tenure at The Hartford included significant responsibilities in operational planning and monthly P&L outlooks for the Association Market, as well as a key leadership role as Assistant Underwriting Director overseeing a $250M+ portfolio. Earlier experience includes a position as an Underwriting Consultant at MassMutual Financial Group, focusing on multi-life underwriting for employer markets. Diane holds a BS in Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut, earned between 1979 and 1983.
