Ricardo Carneiro

Ricardo Carneiro is an experienced professional in the field of virtualization and cloud computing, currently serving as an EMEA Infrastructure Solution Engineer at MetLife Portugal since September 2024. Prior to this role, Ricardo worked as a Citrix Engineer at Ozona Tech and held the position of Senior Citrix Engineer at AXA from June 2020 to July 2023. Ricardo has also contributed to academia as an Invited Professor at ISTEC, teaching a postgraduate course in Virtualization and Cloud Computing. With previous roles in pre-sales and virtualization at companies such as Konica Minolta Business Solutions Portugal and Arrow ECS Portugal, Ricardo has developed a strong expertise in creating tailored solutions and driving business development. Additionally, Ricardo has a foundation in systems administration, having worked for PT Sistemas de Informação and the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas. Ricardo holds a Licenciatura in Linguística from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, earned between 1998 and 2003.
