Yasmin Durrani

Yasmin Durrani is a seasoned compliance and data protection professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as Chief Privacy Officer at MetLife since June 2021, Yasmin previously held the position of Data Protection Officer at Swiss Re, Life Capital from June 2017 to May 2021, and at Zurich Insurance plc from December 2006 to June 2017. Yasmin's expertise includes managing data protection compliance, advising on best practices, and leading impact assessments related to the General Data Protection Regulation. Additionally, Yasmin has experience as a Compliance Advisor and Compliance Business Partner, supporting the implementation of compliance policies and representing compliance interests at board meetings. Yasmin began the compliance career as a Compliance Consultant at Standard Life and later as Compliance Manager at Unum. Yasmin holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Surrey, completed in 1995.
