Ben Begin

Ben Begin is an experienced financial risk management professional with a strong focus on credit risk and prudential regulation. Currently serving as Chief Credit Officer and Head of Retail Credit Risk at Metro Bank (UK) since September 2020, Ben previously held significant roles at National Australia Bank, including Head of Mortgage Credit and Senior Manager of Credit Portfolio Management from March 2015 to September 2020. Prior to that, Ben worked at PwC as a Senior Manager from December 2010 to March 2015 and at KPMG in a similar capacity from January 2005 to December 2010, specializing in banking and credit risk. Ben's career began at Alliance & Leicester as a Senior Risk Analyst, focusing on credit risk and Basel II implementation from May 2000 to December 2004.
