Marko Uusitalo

Marko Uusitalo is an experienced educator and consultant in the fields of communication networks, IoT, and cloud computing. Currently serving as the Head of Degree Programme for Communication Networks and Applications and as a Senior Lecturer at Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulu since August 2008, Marko Uusitalo leads Cisco Networking Academy courses at the CCNP and CCNA levels and supervises theses for both Master and Bachelor students. As the CEO of Marko Uusitalo Consulting Oy since March 2011, Marko Uusitalo focuses on consulting, teaching, and small projects related to IoT, networking, security, and IP-based video solutions. Marko Uusitalo has held previous lecturer and IT management positions at Helsinki Polytechnic and the Helsinki Institute of Technology, where expertise included data networks, VOIP, and security. Marko Uusitalo holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and has been engaged with Cisco Networking Academy since 1999.
