Ata Adeel

Ata Adeel is an accomplished engineer and planner with extensive experience in wastewater management and urban planning. Currently serving as Principal Engineer/Technical Manager for Regional Wastewater Programs at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments since February 2021, Ata previously held roles as a Project Management Consultant for the National Initiative on Mixed-Income Communities and as a Project Manager at the City of Cleveland - City Hall. Additional experience includes positions at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District and work as a Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Urban Planning, Design, and Development from recognized institutions, as well as bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering and Economics.
