Katie Dyer

Katie Dyer, MA, currently serves as a Climate Adaptation & Resilience Planner at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments since January 2020. Previous experience includes roles as an Emergency Management Consultant at Concurrent Technologies Corporation and The Cadmus Group LLC from February 2018 to December 2019 and September 2016 to February 2018, respectively. Additionally, Katie held a position as a Junior Researcher with the Canadian Network for Research on Terrorism, Security and Society from October 2014 to August 2016, and a Risk Communication and Resilience Assistant at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism in early 2016. Earlier experience also includes serving as a Deputy Returning Officer for Elections Ontario in 2014-2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts from the University of Waterloo and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
