Emerson Lego

Emerson Lego, CHMM, CSP, has extensive experience in safety and environmental management, currently serving as the Interim Safety and Environmental Services Unit Manager and previously in various roles at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California since November 2012. Prior experience includes managing environmental affairs at the Los Angeles Times and serving as an Environmental Specialist/Project Manager at Chemical Data Management Systems. Emerson's educational background includes a BS in Biochemistry with a specialization in Business Administration from UCLA, a Professional Certificate in Water Leadership and Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and a Fellowship in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
