Stefan Blumenberg

Stefan Blumenberg has extensive experience in IT governance and architecture, currently serving as Abteilungsleiter Konzernarchitektur & IT-Governance at Bankhaus Metzler since January 2015, focusing on the continuous evaluation and enhancement of IT maturity concerning regulatory requirements. Previously, Stefan held roles such as Teamleiter IT-Governance at Schwarz Dienstleistung KG, overseeing IT architecture consolidation and project portfolio management, and contributed to key initiatives at the Hessisches Ministerium Der Finanzen, including steering IT strategy for the state of Hesse and managing significant cost-cutting programs. Stefan's career began with a strong academic foundation, earning a doctorate in economics while also working in research and administration at various institutions, including Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main and E-Finance Lab.
