Iovana Moreno has over two decades of experience in food security and quality management, currently serving as a Food Security / Quality Management Specialist at Group Micarna since 2004. Key responsibilities include managing the ISO 9001-2008 quality management system and implementing food quality standards such as BRC, IFS, and FSSC 22000, alongside supporting audits and interpreting analytical results for corrective actions. Prior experience includes an assistant role at Bureau d'Agronomie - St Croix, focusing on relational database development and GIS training, and serving as a research assistant at Marine Research Institute (Invemar) Colombia, where ecological analysis and environmental impact assessments were conducted. Iovana holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Tadeo Lozano University.
