Sandra R. Mueller

Sandra R. Mueller is a sustainability management expert with extensive experience in various roles related to environmental management. Currently serving as the Manager of Sustainability Management System at Micarna SA since November 2021, Sandra leads sustainability initiatives across 20 locations and supports sustainability strategies within Migros, particularly focusing on energy, water, and transportation. Previous positions include Project Manager and Lecturer in Sustainable Resource Management at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, where multiple sustainability reports and resource efficiency guidelines were developed. With a solid academic foundation including a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Southampton, Sandra has conducted research on sustainable resource management, material flow analysis, and life cycle assessment, and has contributed to various projects internationally within the field.
