Sally Benjamin Young

Sally Benjamin Young is a board member at Michael Reese. Sally was previously the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Lundbeck from January 2009 to December 2022. At Lundbeck, they were a member of the senior leadership team and member of the North American management group. Sally served as strategic counselor to the CEO, North American president and senior team on business issues and opportunities. Sally led a team of 15 and managed a budget of $13 million. Sally led work resulting in Lundbeck US being ranked #1 in corporate reputation by patient groups for 5 consecutive years and co-created a data-driven partnership with Mental Health America to identify and address pandemic-driven mental health hot spots.

Before their time at Lundbeck, Sally Benjamin Young was the Vice President of Communications at Ovation Pharmaceuticals from January 2006 to December 2009. Prior to that, they were a board member at CommunityHealth. Before that, they were the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Baxter International Inc. from January 2001 to December 2006.
