Karla Forrest-Hewitt

Karla Forrest-Hewitt is a Community Events Specialist and Market Manager at the City of East Lansing since October 2015, with prior experience as a Customer Service Representative. As a Mixed Media Artist at Bingie Creations since October 2005, Karla has demonstrated artistic skills alongside work as an Associate and Photographer at Picture Me Portrait Studio from November 2008 to October 2012. Internationally, Karla served as an ESL Teacher at Guangzhou University of Traditional Medicine from 2010 to 2011 and as an Oral English Teacher at Xiamen University from 2006 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Certification in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Toronto - Woodsworth College and a BA in English and Art from the College of Saint Benedict.
