Amit Raj

Amit Raj is an experienced technical engineer with a diverse background in electronics design and semiconductor technology. Currently serving as a Technical Staff Engineer-Design at Microchip Technology Inc. since October 2024, Amit previously held roles at Nordic Semiconductor as a Consultant and Senior R&D Engineer, focusing on timing and low power methodologies for ultra-low power chips. Prior experience includes a position as a SoC Design Engineer at Intel Corporation, where Amit worked on timing constraints for RF chips, and a long tenure at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, progressing through various engineering roles. Amit began the career as an intern at IBM India Pvt. Ltd. and worked as a Project Assistant at the Defence Research and Development Organisation. Amit holds a Master of Technology in Microelectronics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy.
