Amy Henecke Ph.D. is a Senior Manager at Micron Technology, overseeing the Northeast University Semiconductor Network and regional STEM education partnerships since January 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Dean of Professional & Technical Studies and Workforce Development at Germanna Community College, where responsibilities involved faculty evaluation, budget oversight, and pathway development. Amy held the position of Director of Corporate Outreach at George Mason University, facilitating corporate partnerships for the Virginia Serious Game Institute, and previously served as Director of Virginia STEM in the Office of the Governor, advancing state-wide STEM initiatives. Additionally, as Founding Director of NOVA SySTEMic at Northern Virginia Community College, Amy established and expanded STEM programs and secured ongoing legislative funding. Earlier in their career, Amy worked at Micron Technology managing academic relations. Academically, Amy holds a PhD in Community College Leadership from Old Dominion University, an MEd in Administration of Special Education from George Mason University, and a BA from Randolph-Macon College.
