Jose Bustillos

Jose Bustillos is a Geophysicist at MicroSeismic, Inc. since April 2022, with previous experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Allied Geophysical Laboratories, where work included processing and interpreting 3D VSP data and rock attribute characterization of iron meteorites. Jose also interned at Sigma Cubed Microseismic, focusing on project structure for microseismic projects and data quality control. Additional roles include serving as a soccer referee for the U.S. Soccer Federation and as a Teaching Assistant for a geophysics field camp at the University of Houston, where Jose operated seismic sources for geological studies. Jose holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of Houston.
