Hicham Zmarrou

Hicham Zmarrou, Ph.D., currently serves as the Lead Architect for Data & AI at Microsoft since August 2022 and is a co-founder of Trefoil Analytics, a consultancy focused on data strategy and technology solutions. Previously at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Hicham held several roles, including Principal Enterprise Advisor for Data & AI, where significant initiatives in MLOps and advanced analytics maturity were developed. Hicham’s extensive experience encompasses leadership positions in various sectors, including data science team leadership at AdviceRobo, data management at Cargill, and contributions to BDVA. Hicham holds a Ph.D. in Stochastic Dynamical Systems and has a strong academic background in applied mathematics.
