Nimrod Goren

Nimrod Goren is a prominent expert in Israeli affairs, currently serving as a Senior Fellow for Israeli Affairs at the Middle East Institute since December 2022. Goren co-founded and is a member of the Executive Board at Diplomeds - The Council for Mediterranean Diplomacy, and has been the President and Founder of Mitvim - The Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies since 2010, focusing on improving Israel’s foreign policy and promoting peace in the region. Previous academic roles include a Teaching Fellow in Middle Eastern Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2011 to 2022, a Research Fellow at The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, and a Visiting Fellow at J Street. Goren's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Middle Eastern Studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Hubert Humphrey Fellowship at Syracuse University's Maxwell School.
