Chris Proctor

Chris Proctor is currently the Head of Programme at B:Music, the music charity responsible for Town Hall and Symphony Hall, Birmingham, and is responsible for managing the programme of c.800 performances that are presented in the range of venues that B:Music manages each year. As well as managing events in these venues, Chris is also a saxophonist playing in a range of bands throughout the UK. Having created the accessible thread of programming at B:Music, Chris’ interest and passion for enabling access and removing barriers stretches beyond just the music and arts industry, and having seen the wonderful work that Midland Mencap are doing to celebrate abilities (not disabilities!) across a range of areas, is excited to bring his expertise and knowledge to the Board at Midland Mencap.
