Rheia Khalaf

Rheia Khalaf is an accomplished professional in the field of artificial intelligence and finance, currently serving as the Director of Partnerships at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute since April 2024. Rheia has extensive experience in mentorship and advisory roles, holding positions with Fintech Cadence and Holt Accelerator since 2019. Previously, from November 2018 to April 2024, Rheia directed collaborative research and partnerships for the Fin-ML initiative at IVADO, where significant achievements included establishing scholarship programs, forming international partnerships, and initiating interdisciplinary research projects involving over 100 students. With a robust background in risk management and finance, Rheia has held senior analyst and consultant roles in well-known organizations and has an impressive educational foundation, including a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance & Risk Management from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Mathematics from Concordia University.
