Suzanne Cresswell

Suzanne Cresswell is an accomplished fundraising and development professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Mill Mountain Theatre since November 2024, Cresswell has previously held positions such as Development Officer at Carilion Clinic Foundation and Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement at both Roanoke Valley SPCA and Mountain View Humane. Cresswell’s expertise in fundraising programs is demonstrated through a significant tenure at the Alzheimer's Association, where responsibilities included leading fundraising initiatives and managing teams. Prior roles also encompass positions in event management and donor relations at organizations such as Feeding America Southwest Virginia and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Cresswell holds a degree in Theatre with a focus on Stage Management from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
