Andrés Cavallin

Andrés Cavallin is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background spanning over three decades in software development, digital innovation, and technology architecture. Currently serving as Director of Digital Innovation & Development at Millicom (Tigo) since September 2016, Andrés governs software development initiatives, oversees product evolution, and ensures integration with the IT team across nine countries. Previous roles include Head of Engineering for Digital Products and Product Development Manager, successfully launching key digital services in multiple Latin American countries. Andrés co-founded and served as CTO at Movilway, improving financial access for the unbanked, and was CTO and founder of Vencash Corporation and Cavallin Attias Sistemas, pioneering online payment solutions and innovative IT services. Education includes a fintech certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
