Gabriel Haila

Gabriel Haila, Ph.D., currently serves as a Technical Sales Consultant at Miltenyi Biotec since April 2023. Previously, Gabriel held the position of Adjunct Professor in Advanced Biochemistry at Rowan University from January to April 2024, delivering lectures and aiding students in navigating complex subject matter. As a PhD Candidate at The University of Texas Medical Branch from August 2018 to March 2023, Gabriel focused on the flavivirus envelope protein and its implications in viral pathogenesis, particularly through a dissertation project that investigated crucial intermolecular interactions of the protein domains. Gabriel's earlier experience includes an internship with the UTMB Office of Regulated Nonclinical Studies, where regulatory practices were observed and practiced, as well as roles at Rowan University, including Chemistry Lab Technician and General Chemistry 2 Grader. Academic qualifications include a PhD candidate in Microbiology and Immunology from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Rowan University.
