Colin Read

Colin Read is an experienced Community Mental Health Practitioner with a strong background in mental health support and art therapy. Since July 2019, Colin has been employed at Mind Australia Limited and has held various roles at Uniting at the Haven and Prahran Mission since August 2012, including support worker and psychosocial recovery key support worker. In addition to these positions, Colin has been self-employed as an Art Therapist and artist since 2014, while also serving as a project manager for Arts and Minds Art Therapy, focusing on the effects of art therapy in neuropsychiatric illnesses. Colin holds a Master of Art Therapy and a Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy from La Trobe University, along with extensive education in teaching and theology.
