Carolyn Sealfon, PhD, is a seasoned educator and researcher with a diverse background in physics and science education. Currently serving as a Professor at Minerva University since August 2021, Carolyn facilitates courses in empirical and formal analyses while advising students in natural and computational sciences. As a Research Scholar at the Ronin Institute and Founder of Meta Learning Innovation since March 2018, Carolyn focuses on learning development, assessment, and designing learner-centered educational experiences. Previous roles include Teaching Faculty at the University of Toronto, where Carolyn taught physics and managed graduate teaching assistants, and Associate Director of Science Education at Princeton University, where consultation and course design for enhanced student engagement were pivotal. Additionally, Carolyn has experience in secondary education and has held a tenure-track position at West Chester University, emphasizing community partnerships and research mentorship.
