Leticia Zamora

Leticia Zamora is a Foreign Service Officer at the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto, actively engaged in sustainable development initiatives and international agreements since 2017. Currently serving as a Sustainable Development Officer, responsibilities include overseeing the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 and negotiating the Plastic Pollution Treaty. Previously, Leticia has worked as a Second Committee Delegate at the United Nations and coordinated cooperation efforts related to financing and green initiatives. An academic background includes a Master's degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from Instituto de Servicio Exterior Manuel Maria de Peralta and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Universidad de Costa Rica. Earlier professional experience encompasses roles in immigration coordination and analysis at various organizations, including Fragomen and the Embassy of Canada to Costa Rica.
