YC Choy currently serves as the Director of International Affairs at the Ministry of Digital Development and Information since June 2024. Prior to this role, YC Choy was Vice President and Head of Region, Europe at the Singapore Economic Development Board from August 2019 to June 2024, focusing on investment facilitation and industry development for Singapore and Southeast Asia. YC Choy has held various leadership positions within the Ministry of Defence of Singapore, including Battalion Commander and Deputy Director for Consumer & Europe, and has a strong military background as a Brigade Operations Officer at Marine Corps University. YC Choy's academic credentials include a Master’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and a Master of Military Studies from Marine Corps University.
