Asasira Andrew is an experienced economist currently serving at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development since March 2015, where responsibilities include investment and private sector policy formulation, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, along with investment promotion and national planning. Prior to this role, Asasira worked as a Bank Operations Officer at Housing Finance Bank from July 2012 to February 2015, managing remittances, transaction processes, and credit assessments. Asasira holds a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from Loughborough University, a Master’s in Economic Policy and Planning from Makerere University, and a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Economics from the same institution, complemented by high school education in sciences and arts.
