Steve Sim

Steve Sim serves as the Chief Digital Officer and General Manager of Data and Information at the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand since September 2017, leading the management and utilization of information to support the Ministry's business strategy. Prior to this role, Steve was the Products and Services Manager at the Ministry of Justice, managing information and BI products throughout their lifecycle. Earlier experience includes a contract role as Data Stewardship Manager at the Ministry for the Environment, and extensive tenure at Intilecta Corporation Ltd as Partner and Chief Operating Officer, where responsibilities spanned software delivery and project management. Steve's career began at Shell, covering roles from Global CRM Solution Manager to Senior Developer, contributing to significant CRM solutions and system integrations. Steve holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Otago.
