Dr. Anas Hamad

Dr. Anas Hamad, PhD, MSc, DMS, BSc, RPh, serves as the Director of the Pharmacy Department at Hamad Medical Corporation's National Center for Cancer Care & Research since December 2006, while also holding multiple leadership roles including Head of the Medication Safety & Quality Center and Assistant Director of Pharmacy for Clinical Services & Quality Improvement. Dr. Hamad is an active member of several important committees, such as the Institutional Review Board and National Clinical Research Review Committee. In addition to a robust clinical background, Dr. Hamad contributes to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Qatar University and participates in various professional organizations, including ISPOR and Qatar Red Crescent Society. With a PhD in Clinical Practice and Medication Use from King's College London, Dr. Hamad's expertise encompasses clinical pharmacy, medication safety, and health services management.
