Micah Wilkins

Micah Wilkins, MPH, serves as a Research Analysis Specialist Senior at the Minnesota Department of Health since September 2023, focusing on evaluation within the Injury and Violence Prevention Section. Concurrently, Micah holds the position of Program Evaluation Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, having previously worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Additional experience includes a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Research Internship at The Odum Institute and a Worker Health Consultant role at the North Carolina Justice Center. Micah has also contributed as a Data and Advocacy Evaluation Consultant at PHI and as a Homeschool Educator during the pandemic. Earlier roles encompassed positions such as Nutrition Services Coordinator at Harvesters and Youth Exploration Program Coordinator at The Learning Web. Micah holds a Master of Public Health degree with a focus on Health Equity, Social Justice, and Human Rights from UNC Gillings and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College.
