Megan Shannon

Megan Hupp Shannon currently serves as the Operations Director for the Minnesota DFL Party, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, Megan operated as a freelance consultant and project manager from November 2016 to March 2024, focusing on the intersection of politics, organizational leadership, operations, and stakeholder engagement. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President at No Labels (October 2017 - June 2023), scheduling and advance for Hillary for America (August 2016 - November 2016), and Deputy Director of Studio 2016 for the Democratic National Convention Committee (July 2016 - August 2016). Additionally, Megan held various positions at The Hill, Atlantic Media, and Obama for America, demonstrating a strong background in event management and content strategy. Megan began the career as an intern at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Journalism and English from Marquette University, obtained in 2009.
