Sandy Pappas serves as Vice President of the Women Legislators' Lobby and as President and Co-founder of Forward Global Women, an organization dedicated to training women leaders in the MENA region as peacebuilders. Pappas has been a Senator for Minnesota's District 65 since 1991, representing areas including downtown St. Paul, and has held leadership positions such as Vice Chair of the Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement and the Legislative Coordinating Commission. Prior experience includes serving as a Representative in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1984 to 1990. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Metropolitan State University.
