Chad Ostlund

Chad Ostlund, MPA, has extensive experience in emergency preparedness and public health, currently serving as a Supervisor and Director of Continuity of Operations Planning at the Minnesota Department of Health since October 2015. Chad has also held roles such as Business Continuity Coordinator and Emergency Preparedness Planner within the same organization. In addition to work with the Minnesota Department of Health, Chad is involved as a Flex Team Member with Minnesota Wild since September 2023, contributing to various roles during events. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Planner at the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Project Manager at Nechama focusing on disaster relief, and roles in program management and retail management at several companies. Chad holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
