Fernando Merino Blanco

Fernando Merino Blanco is an experienced professional in engineering and technology, currently serving as the Head of the Digital Twin Practice at Minsait since July 2021. Prior to this role, Fernando held the position of Simulation & Performance Monitoring Manager at Indra from December 2007 to June 2021 and served as Project Manager at Soluziona Ingenieria, S.A. from December 1999 to December 2007, focusing on simulation and performance monitoring within the energy and oil & gas sectors. Earlier in Fernando's career, from June 1993 to December 1999, a role as Senior Engineer at ENUSA involved developing nuclear calculation methods for nuclear fuel engineering. Fernando earned a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and an Ingeniero Industrial degree with a specialization in Energéticas from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
