Salil Prasad

Salil Prasad is currently an advisor at Mirketa. Salil has over fifteen years of experience in the software industry, specializing in program management and engineering services.

Prasad began their career at Saba Inc., where they spent four and a half years as the Director of the PMO. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company's software development process and overseeing technical documentation standards. Salil also played a key role in product pricing and licensing, ensuring that new and modified pricing aligned with company standards and policy.

In January 2011, Prasad joined Taleo, which was acquired by Oracle in June 2012. Salil spent just over a year at Oracle as the Senior Director of Program Management & Engineering Services. In this role, they were responsible for the development of a metrics portal using a business intelligence tool and data warehouse. Salil also led the release management function, consisting of build engineering, virtual lab maintenance, and administration of development tools and infrastructure. Additionally, Prasad oversaw the customer social networking site and experience.

Prasad left Oracle in October 2013 to join Mirketa as an advisor.

After completing their B.E. in Electronics & Communication from BIT Mesra, Salil Prasad pursued an M.S. in Computer Engg from Santa Clara University. Salil then went on to complete a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Engineering from SICA. Salil has also obtained certifications from PMI in PMP and ScrumAlliance in CSM.
