Kieran Durkin

Kieran Durkin has extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and technical operations, currently serving as Executive Director of API Drug Substance Manufacturing at Mirum Pharmaceuticals since February 2020. Prior roles include Senior Director positions at Odonate Therapeutics™ and Acorda Therapeutics, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed API and drug product manufacturing. Kieran also held senior roles in CMC and chemical operations at Biotie Therapies and PCAS-NANOSYN LLC. Earlier in the career, significant contributions were made at Roche, including the discovery of scalable synthesis routes for nucleoside APIs, and as a Chemistry Specialist at Aerojet Fine Chemicals, Kieran led the development of high potency APIs. Kieran holds a Ph.D. and a B.S. with Honors in Organic Chemistry from University College Dublin, Ireland.
