Steven Hawes

Steven Hawes is a seasoned taxation professional with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Taxation Director Reporting at Mirvac since October 2006, where responsibilities include tax reporting, lodgement, technology integration, and staff management in a diversified property group. Prior to Mirvac, Steven held various taxation roles including Taxation Manager at Marsh & McLennan Companies and Taxation Manager - General Insurance at AMP, where Steven established a tax compliance function post-acquisition of GIO. Steven's background also includes advisory roles in GST implementation and taxation compliance across multiple sectors within AMP. Additionally, Steven began the career as an Accountant at Lock and Partners Chartered Accountants. Steven is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand since 1997 and holds a National Diploma in Accountancy.
