Janet Mota

Janet Mota (she/her) has been a lead teacher at Mission Kids since 2021. She is a native Spanish speaker and was born and raised in the Bay Area. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies teacher prep and is currently working toward a master’s degree in elementary school education at San Jose State University.

Prior to joining Mission Kids, Janet worked as a substitute preschool teacher. She currently volunteers in a program called Reading Partners to help students get on grade level in reading.
