Donald Hoang

Donald Hoang is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in strategy, corporate development, and commercialization across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Mission Rock Capital, LLC since April 2024, Donald empowers healthcare innovators through advisory services in mergers and acquisitions, business model innovation, and product launches. Previously, Donald held key leadership roles at Varian Medical Systems, including Global Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, where responsibilities included oversight of numerous EPS-accretive investments and serving on the Executive Committee. Donald's diverse background also encompasses significant positions at Siemens Healthineers, Doximity, Genentech, Velano Vascular, Charles River Associates, and VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Donald completed a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Stanford University, an M.B.A. in Strategy & Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management from UC Berkeley School of Public Health.
