Maury W. Bradsher

Maury W. Bradsher is the chairman and CEO of District Equity, LLC (DE), the investment manager and holding company to private equity investments within defense, healthcare, cybersecurity, real estate, and entertainment. As a highly successful and unique entrepreneur, he joined the board with more than 20 years of expertise with innovative technology companies and federal contractors and an expansive breadth of experience, including being a corporate financier, operator, and adviser.

Bradsher has advised some of the world's most sophisticated organizations and executed transactions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, totaling more than $67 billion in value.

In 2018, Bradsher joined ASSETT Inc., a Manassas, VA-based engineering and intelligence analysis company as a lead investor and director, where he advised the CEO on corporate strategy and board operations before leading the firm's successful exit in 2021. Prior to ASSETT, Bradsher founded Azimuth Business Solutions (ABS), a systems engineering firm focused on healthcare compliance, security, and enterprise IT solutions that address the most significant risks to our nation's critical infrastructure.

Bradsher serves as a trustee to the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC), where he is also the benefactor for the Vernon E. Jordan Jr. Presidential Fellowship. As a top expert on investing across national defense, Bradsher has been invited to speak about finance, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and related topics at a variety of venues, including the Aspen Institute and the United Nations.

Bradsher serves on the boards of Toffler Associates Inc., Autnhive Inc., and WWC Global LLC. He is also an investor and senior adviser to Star Mountain Capital, a $3+ billion alternative asset management firm.

Through the years, Bradsher has received an Operational Excellence Award from Private Equity International, been named the Best Multinational Investment by Acquisition International, and the Asset Management Firm of the Year by PE Hub.

Bradsher received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and an MBA from New York University.
